Food for Health® relies upon that expertise to keep personalized guidance nutritionally sound, attentive to health equity, and practical for people living with different needs and circumstances.

About Aimee

Aimee’s career has moved deliberately across the places where nutrition and public health become personal: clinical care, food access, maternal and child nutrition, local government, education, and community-based services. Her early roles included chief clinical dietitian, nutrition manager for Food Bank For New York City, and local WIC coordinator.

She later led community health work for Summit County Public Health and spent nearly a decade with Akron Summit Community Action, first directing its Pathways HUB and then serving as vice president of community services programs. She now serves as Chief Operating Officer of Better Health Partnership and is a certified improvement advisor.

Aimee holds a PhD in prevention science from Kent State University, a master’s degree in public health nutrition from Case Western Reserve University, and a bachelor’s degree in nutrition sciences from the University of Connecticut. Her combination of scientific training and frontline experience helps Food for Health® consider not just what evidence recommends, but what people can understand, access, and use.
