Experience in service of better health

John W. Francis brings more than 30 years of experience as a franchisor, franchisee, multi-unit owner, developer, advisor, coach, and board member. Food for Health® draws upon his pattern recognition across more than 100 brands to develop repeatable partner systems, strengthen leadership accountability, and expand reach while protecting quality.

About John

Known throughout his field as Johnny Franchise®, John learned the business from the ground up in a family connected to the growth of the Cost Cutters system. His career has since given him a view from nearly every seat at the table, from ownership and operations to advisory boards and executive coaching.

Through Next Level Franchise, John works with founders and leadership teams navigating the difficult transition from hands-on growth to scalable leadership. He helps organizations establish the structure, candid dialogue, accountability, and decision-making discipline needed to grow with less friction. He also serves on a range of franchise boards and advisory boards across consumer and service businesses.

John is equally committed to the human side of leadership. He founded Fathers Eve®, a national initiative that brings fathers together on the evening before Father’s Day to connect, learn from one another, and build supportive relationships. His approach to business reflects the same instinct: listen closely, ask useful questions, tell people what he genuinely thinks, and help them move forward with greater clarity.
