Senior Director, Impact Investment and Venture Growth Strategy
An investor and innovation leader who builds bridges among capital, technology, enterprise growth, and community impact.
Moiz Dawoodbhai brings deep experience in impact investing, venture capital, digital health, corporate innovation, and community development. Food for Health® relies upon his perspective to connect measurable human benefit with the investment structures, partnerships, and growth strategy required for broad adoption.
At Northwestern Mutual, Moiz leads a $25 million Business Expansion Fund and the company’s impact-investment strategy in Milwaukee and Southeast Wisconsin. His work includes sourcing opportunities, conducting due diligence, structuring investments, setting impact measures, and building partnerships designed to expand access to capital and create durable economic opportunity.
Previously, he helped manage a $200 million corporate venture fund investing in fintech, digital health, and consumer-focused startups. His experience encompasses hundreds of evaluated opportunities, portfolio support, accelerator programs, and efforts to reduce barriers for founders who have historically lacked access to venture capital.
Moiz’s path to investing began in healthcare operations and digital transformation. At Advocate Aurora Health, he helped test and implement telemedicine, remote monitoring, scheduling, and patient-engagement solutions—work that improved access, adherence, satisfaction, and financial performance. That combination of frontline digital-health experience and investment discipline helps Food for Health® connect mission with measurable outcomes and sustainable scale.
