Food for Health® applies clinical nutrition evidence to personalized food decisions. Its patented Efficacy Engine® evaluates ingredients in the context of individual health factors, conditions, and goals. The company works at the intersection of nutrition, consumer experience, grocery, healthcare, and enterprise technology.

Our internships offer substantive work, direct feedback, and opportunities to learn how a growing company researches, communicates, and develops its market. Applicants must be self-starters with strong time-management skills who are used to taking initiative, checking their work, and improving it in response to feedback.

The role

Work on the front line of investor, enterprise-customer, and strategic-partner development. You will research prospective organizations and decision-makers, develop an approach to each relationship, initiate approved outreach, and help move qualified conversations toward meetings. This is a relationship-development role, not a position limited to assembling prospect lists.

What you will do

  • Identify prospective investors, customers, and partners whose priorities align with Food for Health®.
  • Research organizations, decision-makers, business needs, and potential points of connection.
  • Develop prospect-specific outreach plans and draft concise emails, messages, and follow-ups.
  • Initiate approved outreach through appropriate professional channels and schedule qualified introductory meetings.
  • Prepare meeting briefs, participate in selected conversations, and document next steps.
  • Maintain accurate contact, activity, and opportunity records in the company’s CRM.

What you will learn

Consultative outreach, executive communication, discovery, relationship development, and how enterprise opportunities progress from initial research to substantive discussion.

Who should apply

A confident, curious, well-prepared communicator who listens closely, writes clearly, follows through, and is willing to initiate conversations with people they do not know. Prior sales experience is not required.

Examples of your work

Prospect strategies, executive briefs, tailored outreach, qualified meetings, and accurate opportunity records.

Required skills

  • Mastery of English in spoken and written forms (native or bilingual fluency).
  • Microsoft Office 365, including Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • LinkedIn, AI tools, and Google Chrome.

Work schedule

  • Flexible 15–25 hours per week as defined by you, the intern.
  • Project deliverables and deadlines are proposed or agreed to by you, the intern.
  • All equipment needed for the role is provided by you, the intern.
  • Location is remote / virtual.

Compensation

  • There is no monetary compensation for this role. We are dedicated to providing an immersive, interactive educational experience for elite performers who understand the value of the knowledge and connections they can gain by working with us. The cost of providing such an experience exceeds the compensation appropriate to the experience and abilities of applicants. If that is not the case, this internship is not offered.
  • A core company tenet is to reward exemplary performance by everyone who provides value in advancing our mission through equity ownership; this tenet also applies to interns. Any equity grant is subject to acceptance of the terms and conditions in the company’s equity grant, member control, and operating agreements.
  • Certain business-development roles that result in revenue to the company may offer commissioned compensation. Monetary compensation of any kind is subject to acceptance of the terms and conditions in the company’s contractor agreements.

What to expect

  • Substantive assignments connected to active company priorities.
  • Direct feedback and opportunities to improve your work.
  • Responsibility for taking initiative, managing time, and checking details.
  • Exposure to how a growing company develops enterprise and investor relationships.
