People who are overweight are turning to GLP-1 agonist drugs like Ozempic to lose body weight. This class of drugs has negative side effects; weight-rebounding occurs when the drugs are discontinued; the drugs are expensive and an enormous burden on our health care system; and may not teach people that a good diet can also lead to weight loss via similar molecular mechanisms, with a bit of effort and education (aided by GONO for example).
