Food for Health® applies clinical nutrition evidence to personalized food decisions. Its patented Efficacy Engine® evaluates ingredients in the context of individual health factors, conditions, and goals. The company works at the intersection of nutrition, consumer experience, grocery, healthcare, and enterprise technology.

Our internships offer substantive work, direct feedback, and opportunities to learn how a growing company researches, communicates, and develops its market. Applicants must be self-starters with strong time-management skills who are used to taking initiative, checking their work, and improving it in response to feedback.

The role

Provide the research and analysis that makes enterprise development more informed and effective. You will support the Strategic Enterprise Development role by testing assumptions, identifying promising targets, and building evidence-based customer and investor theses. This is an analytical role rather than the primary front-line outreach role.

What you will do

  • Research prospective customers, investors, partners, competitors, and relevant market developments.
  • Map organizations, decision-makers, investment interests, comparable investments, and strategic relationships.
  • Investigate customer needs and develop concise, source-supported hypotheses about where Food for Health® creates value.
  • Build and check prospect profiles, market comparisons, opportunity assessments, and financial or ROI models when appropriate.
  • Evaluate source quality, reconcile conflicting information, and distinguish verified facts from assumptions.
  • Turn findings into usable briefs and recommendations for outreach and meetings.

What you will learn

Commercial research, investor and customer qualification, competitive analysis, evidence-based argument, and the translation of complex findings into executive-ready decisions.

Who should apply

A rigorous researcher who enjoys finding what others miss, checking claims, organizing complex information, and writing clearly. Strong judgment and source discipline matter more than familiarity with any one research platform.

Examples of your work

Investor maps, customer theses, competitor analyses, source-checked executive briefs, and ROI-model inputs.

Required skills

  • Mastery of English in spoken and written forms (native or bilingual fluency).
  • Microsoft Office 365, including Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • LinkedIn, AI tools, and Google Chrome.

Work schedule

  • Flexible 15–25 hours per week as defined by you, the intern.
  • Project deliverables and deadlines are proposed or agreed to by you, the intern.
  • All equipment needed for the role is provided by you, the intern.
  • Location is remote / virtual.

Compensation

  • There is no monetary compensation for this role. We are dedicated to providing an immersive, interactive educational experience for elite performers who understand the value of the knowledge and connections they can gain by working with us. The cost of providing such an experience exceeds the compensation appropriate to the experience and abilities of applicants. If that is not the case, this internship is not offered.
  • A core company tenet is to reward exemplary performance by everyone who provides value in advancing our mission through equity ownership; this tenet also applies to interns. Any equity grant is subject to acceptance of the terms and conditions in the company’s equity grant, member control, and operating agreements.
  • Certain business-development roles that result in revenue to the company may offer commissioned compensation. Monetary compensation of any kind is subject to acceptance of the terms and conditions in the company’s contractor agreements.

What to expect

  • Substantive assignments connected to active company priorities.
  • Direct feedback and opportunities to improve your work.
  • Responsibility for taking initiative, managing time, and checking details.
  • Exposure to how a growing company turns commercial research into executive decisions.

All qualified applicants will receive consideration without regard to race, color, religion, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, national origin, genetics, pregnancy, disability, age, political affiliation, veteran status, or other characteristics.
